The Climate Change: The Future Is Now STEM curriculum Premium Module Kit engages students in a variety of investi- gations to establish basic understandings about climate science literacy. Exploration through real-time and virtual experiments and web-based applications as well as modeling and engineering experiences help participants identify the facts, issues and actions they wish to take. Grades 4–5.

Through the inquiry-based explorations in the Dive In: Oceanographic Engineering STEM curriculum Premium Module Kit, students engineer solutions to aquatic chal- lenges. Engaging in island construction, growing crops through aquaculture and examining ocean “ownership” will afford learners the opportunity to participate in various aspects of the engineering design cycle. Grades 4–5.
AP9571 I $1,200.00
With the Engineering: Design and Build STEM curriculum Classic Module Kit, student-led teams conceptualize, build, test and acquire knowledge while becom- ing familiar with the engineering design process. Using an open-ended inquiry approach, students are able to foster their creativity while learning to apply multiple skills and develop habits of innovators. Grades 4–5.

Living in a Material World
STEM Through the Ages
Students learn STEM as they consider the enormous challenge of planning a perma- nent, sustainable colony on Mars. They explore gravity and orbital mechanics, envi- ronmental conditions on Mars and current space-flight hardware. Students apply engineering design and project manage- ment techniques to citizen science projects, analysis of imagery from the Mars recon- naissance Orbiter and the development of mission architecture. Grades 6–8.
Students embark on an 8,000-year journey to see how the development of Materials Science has shaped the course of human civilization. Explore the world of manmade objects by examining relationships between molecular structure and materials proper- ties. From Stone Age tools to modern alloys and polymers, students will test, analyze and create complex materials from simple building blocks. Grades 6–8.
AP9575 I $400.00
Explore the science, mathematics and technology that was developed, altered
or utilized by civilization during medieval times. This time period helped lay the foun- dation for modern science, mathematics and technological advances. This curriculum focuses on the agriculture, society and epidemiology, engineering, chemistry and textiles and technological developments that led civilization into the Renaissance. Grades 6–8.
