Matter is Conserved

When chemical reactions occur, atoms are rearranged, not destroyed. The Law of Conservation of Matter states that matter can neither be created nor destroyed. Observing the conservation of matter can be difficult during a chemical reaction. In this activity, a model of atoms will be used to build molecules and balance chemical equations.
